Munics Information Systems Introduces WINGS (Windows In Next Generation™ Software)

Next Generation™ Software has been in a continuous development and improvement stage for twenty five years. The next release, 6.00, is going to be very unique. In addition to the character-based version, Munics will release an all new “windows” version called WINGS (Windows In Next Generation™ Software). This is a Windows/mouse oriented version of the same powerful product.

This means that both mouse and keyboard can be used in one software product. The user can choose to run the character version, the windows version, or use both. Either entry mode will produce the exact same result. An order entered in the character version can be updated in the windows version and closed out in either mode. There is no difference in the result.

Modules are also available that allow a user to run selected parts of the system as a “browser” or internet/intranet application. These modules (B2B, PRM or Sales Manager) enable the software to run as a character, windows or browser based product. They all work the same behind the scenes.

B2B is a Business To Business internet capability that allows a user to quickly establish an internet site where customers may enter orders, check order or account or inventory status and much more.

PRM, Partner Relationship Manager, is a module that gives the user a complete overview of each account including open quotes and orders, invoices issued, checks received and comments from customer conversations.

The Sales Rep/Manager module allows access over an Internet/Intranet connection to authorized sections of the Next Generation™ Software.
