Munics Information Systems, Inc. announces a Browser Based Partner Relationship Module

Munics Information Systems is proud to announce our new browser based, Partner Relationship Manager Module ( PRM). This module is now ready for release. The new module has been in development for close to a year and has been successfully installed and operational at our Beta site for several months.

The Partner Relationship Manager focuses on managing your every day business events with your customers, prospects and vendors. Having information at your fingertips to accomplish the goals of improving sales, profitability and service levels just makes good business sense. If you need to know buying patterns, profitability, past quotes, conversations, customer service issues, etc. and you need to have that information instantly without having to comb through reports, queries and handwritten notes, this module is for you.

The Partner Relationship Manager combines features of contact management systems with sales force automation systems and tightly integrates them into your Next Generation™ Software.

Some of the features that are in this module include:

Integrated Contact Manager that will allow note taking and thus the ability to track and retain the chronological history of all conversations with prospects, customers or vendors by any person in the company.

Follow- up Reminders that allow the entry of dates for specific actions that you need followed up or completed.

Prospect to Customer Conversion allows you to quickly turn a prospect record into a customer record.

Quick Quotes allows you to quote a prospect or existing customer and easily retrieve the quotes to turn them into orders when accepted.

Order Processing Interface directly from the PRM module allows you to quickly take orders while contacting customers. With the power of Next Generation™ Software, you can easily have the information you need to effectively Cross- sell and Up- sell products to your customers and prospects.

Credit Analysis is available to your personnel to assist in the collection process.

Track Order Status for answering questions on “where’s my order”.

Links to Sales Analysis to find out buying patterns, profitability, the last price this customer paid for this product, etc.

Links to Purchasing and Accounts Payable allow access to purchase order status, costs, vendor analysis and commitments made by suppliers.

There are of course many, many other features. But perhaps one of the biggest features of this module is the fact that everything about a prospect, customer, or vendor is kept in one place, so training of personnel is minimal. If a sales representative or purchasing agent leaves your business, there exists a chronological history of conversations and events for each customer and vendor. New employees will come up to speed much quicker and there will be no “but the other guy said” to overcome.
