The Business-to-Business E-Commerce module of Next Generation™ Software for Distributors allows users to establish closer business relationships with their customers by providing them with secured access to Next Generation™ Software over the Internet. With a browser, customers can easily place orders, check stock availability, look at their account status and determine the status of an order. If a customer can use a web browser, they can now use Next Generation™ Software. No special training is required!

With password authorization and verification, a customer can access the shopping cart feature of Next Generation™ Software. When the user enters the catalog section to review products, the E-Commerce module automatically gives the customer access to all of the specific products they are permitted to purchase. A picture of the item including specifications can also be displayed. When a customer adds the item to the shopping cart, they get the unique pricing that has been agreed upon.

Product availability may also be displayed so the customer will know the order status upon entry. Orders can be suspended and renewed as often as necessary to make the job easy for the customer. When the shopping cart is filled, simply click on the Checkout button. The inventory is reserved and the order is entered into the system for normal processing. If desired, an e-mail acknowledgement may be sent back to your customer.

One of the reasons a customer calls, is to determine the status of their order. Now customers can quickly and easily look at all orders, just open orders or just shipped orders and get the answers they want, when they want them. If the order was shipped UPS, FedEx or DHL, there is a direct link to the shipper’s website where the delivery status is shown. Customers can also look at their accounts receivable status including current payments, and invoices due. They can only VIEW their account. They cannot make changes, or see any other customer’s account.
