 New SAP Business One Partner Announcement
Dear Colleagues,
I'm pleased to announce the latest addition to the SAP Business One reseller channel. Munics Information Systems is a unique organization and an unusual partner since they are currently a software publisher. Their systems primarily operate in a Unix environment, and in order to best serve the needs of their customers in the future, they had a make vs. buy decision. After much deliberation and due diligence on their part, they decided in favor of becoming a reseller for SAP!
Munics Information Systems, Inc. was founded in 1982 to develop, sell and support software expressly for the Wholesale/Distribution marketplace. Their product, Next Generation® Software, came to market in 1986. Venture capital firms invested in the company in 1990 and again in 1992. Current management bought out the VC’s in 1998 and 2002. Next Generation Software has been installed throughout the United States and in Quebec, Canada and claims over 200 installed customers. All sales and support is done from their office in Clifton, New Jersey, and their staff of developers, implementers, trainers and salespeople averages over 17.6 years of experience in the distribution world!
Munics is completely focused on the Wholesale/Distribution industries. They thoroughly understand the needs of the industry and have built software to address these needs. While they sell to the entire 50-51 sic codes, they have vertical specialties in food, building materials, electronic equipment, and industrial supplies. They have customers throughout the country, but they primarily focus on NY, NJ, CT and PA and have a data base of over 8,000 prospects. They are particularly good at solving specific customer problems by providing unique customizations for their requirements, and they also accommodate those clients with light manufacturing requirements.
